ANTONIN DVORAK

My good neighbor Antonin Dvorak

Antonin Dvorak who was born in a Bohemian village of czech in 1841 was a multicultural musician who later in life influenced American musicians such as Gershwin,Copland,Charles Ives,and black musician and jazz players like Duke Ellington,amig others .Still Dvorak who new himself as an American musician,wrote Two sets of Slavonic dances and three Slavonic Rhapsodies ,not to mention seven Gypsy  songs,as of Songs my mother taught me.Dvorak died 1904Here is one of Dvorak Slavonic dance performed by Berliner Philharmoniker,conducted by Simon Rattle.-F.S.
