Looking for Carmen Valley Road in Route 56,We finally arrived in Shiva and Said's new house with a triple flower pot of Bromeliad
and ended up in Sufi Restaurant in Bilbao ,but when we got stuffed with a variety of foods picked from buffet followed by rice pudding and Sholeh Zard(no relation to Sholeh ! ),not to mention persian tea,Chai,we sat in Sam's car and started to find out what the largest city of California was.
Of course it is Los Angeles,someone said.
And later we realized that according to 2012 census ,the population of L.A. is 3,832,880,out of 37,691,912 people of the the state of California,the croudest of U.S.A.
But discussion went hot on the second largest city of Ca. which happened to be San Diego with 1,306,228 and then comes a surprising #3:San Jose with 964,675.
San Francisco is #4 with population of 815,358
Fresno #5 with 479,911
Sacramento #6 with 466,685
Long Beach #7 with 462,594
If Irvine and Orange county where the best choice for living ,which I suspect still are,now they rank between 10 and 20 with communities like Palace Verde and Tiburon.This is of course due to Great income of the people of small communities and their leisurely life .
And all these are to honor brown bear and golden poppy,the official flora and fauna of
The Golden State.
What everyone likes to keep in mind and be reminded once in awhile is Los Angeles & San Francisco are the two great cultural capitals of California for their Cinema and literature, no matter what their populations are.
