ZO TO DO

The last time I went to Zoo To Do

It was a long hot summer 

That I almost took off my short and T shirt
Not to mention black tie 

This year,
 the coldest day in stormy may

Came around 

And poor Peacock

came out of her nest

With her mink coat on 

-Might have been a peahen then-

And with a glass of champagne
In her hand
screamed

Get Off My Grass

But no one listened 

And the band went on with:

Zoo To Do Song

So we enjoyed our Beef Bourguignonne 

Till Tree Three

Fell asleep
Over Flaming Torch
