Faramarz Soleimani Only a great soul can act as a great soul. In Capote Philip Seymour Hoffman showed us he was more Capote than himself with his facial impression ,changing voice and body language. One may leave the argument about this matter of why smart artists are unable to outsmart alcohol and drugs,and in case of Hoffman and many others come up with a destroyed body and mind,and in many other cases with lost creativity and power of acting. What today can be mentioned is this whole happening is a loss. A loss for the artist and a loss for society who is in need of peace and love ,the real artist can provide. After Generation of Giants like Marlon Brando,Paul Newman , Peter O'Toole who went back to cave and disappeared , we need artists like him,not to mention Sean Penn and his peers,and we can not afford losing them one by one.Death to drugs and Overdose! Be smart silly boys and girls! Stay with us please . We need your mental and psychological protection in this gigantic wilderness.
