ZOO TO DO,NEW ORLEANS

I walked in the night while I whispered

under tree three

with Spanish Moss

of Cinco de Mayo

hanging down 

we stopped by Flaming Torch Stand

with beef bourguinon

 in a muggy may weather

to dance with you

in the dark.

And blinking blue lights

were dancing with us.

A rabbit,a kangaroo and a lion

in metal

hugging real red roses 

in tall vases .

Full moon on the palm

green breeze of May

 a lady in black

jazzing up.

And I whispered
