yalda,birth,milad and tavalod or zadan va zayesh,also permanent mother, is an old persian word , tradition and festivities,specially of mitraism to celebrate mitra's birthday.This tradition had inspired other cultures and religions such as christianity in 4th century,during pope constantine ,and been adapted and shared since then,with evergreen,turned to pine tree,belles,candles ,baptism,mitre hat and green,white and red as colors of nature,peace and life,to mention a few of its symbols.
