He grew up in St.Petrsburg and studied music with Rimsky Korsakov,then moved to Paris and other western European cities after revolution of October 1917.Finally he moved to U.S. in 1939 to express his modern vision in music.
Stravinsky,s LE SACRE DU PRINTEMPS/THE RITE OF SPRING,as well as L'OISEAU DE FEU/FIREBIRD ,made him well known in Paris,although objected by some.,as with any new concept.
