The Spanish-American war of 1898 torn Spanish Empire apart,and it took the Afro-Indo-Nicaraguan Ruben Dario to  Europe, to observe his Modernismo Movement taking further influence and distance from Romanticism of France, and Spain-Portugal .Also inspired by French Parnassianism.Dario in this movement put emphasys on original imagination and identity.it was a private identity of mysticism,sense and sensibility,eroticism and the vast landscape surrounding the poets.He is considered Walt Whitman of Americas,aka Latin America and or Spanish America,,and Luis Gongora of new continent ,as well.
