MOHASSESS NAKED FOREVER
on the day he left: 10/09
OBEID OF ZAKAN
STARTED THE WOLE GAME
AND ARDESHIR
OF GILAN
COUGHT THE BALL
AND RAN WITH THE OTHERS
ON A ROOFTOP OF TWO OPEN ENDS
WITH A ROOFTOP OF TWO OPEN ENDS.
SOMETIMES I WENT TO SEE HIM
IF STILL PLAYING.
HE WAS.
HE OPENED THE WINDOW
OF FIFTH AVENUE
TO THE WORLD
AND THE WINDOW
WAS STILL WIDE OPEN.
HIS NAKEDNESS
OF SEEING THE WORLD NAKED
WHEN NAKEDNESS
BRUTALLY IS NAKED
IN FRONT OF OUR EYES
AND THE WHOLE GAME
IS PLAYING BY US
ON ROOFTOPS.

FIRST CAME WITH SATIRE
AND SUSPICION
BUT NOT SO SATISFIED
THEN STARTED SWITCHING HEADS
WITH ROSES AND NIGHTINGALES.
THERE WERE BUTTERFLIES SINGING
AND CHANGING COLORS
THERE WERE KINGS
AND QUASI KINGS
EATING THEIR SUBJECTS.
THERE WERE COVERED
BEING UNCOVERED
IN COVER UPS.
HE STARTED WRITING OPEN LETTERS
TO WEAKLING POWER THIRSTY CLOWNS.
AND THESE MEN'S NOSE
 GREW BIGGER AND LONGER
AND THEIR EYES POPPED OUT
OR WIDE SHOT..

HE WAS LOUD
LOUDER
AND LOUDEST.
GHAJAR,YOU SAY IT QAJAR
AS PRE-PAHLAVI PERIOD
WAS NOT LONG ENOUGH AN ERA
TO COVER
HE WAS EXTENDED TO PAHLAVI
AND POST PAHLAVI
ON HANGING ROPES
OR IN PLASTIC PALACES
SOMTIMES EVEN TORN AND RUINED,
HE WAS EXTENDED TO THE WORLD.
OPPRESION BECAME SATIRE.
SUPPRESSION BECAME SATIRE.
DEPRESSION BECAME SATIRE.
AND CRY CASCADED HIS THROAT
AND TEARS BECAME WATERFALLS
MISTY AND MYSTIC.
I OFTEN FOUND HIM
HIDING
BEHIND EASLE
IN AN AISLE
OR WAS IT EASLE
HIDING
BEHIND HIM?

THAT WAS HIS FAVORITE SPOT TOO.
THAT WAS HIS DESTINY.
AND BEING LOUD
LOUDER
LOUDEST.
I FOUND HIM
COVERED UNCOVERED
AND ALL NAKED
THIS WAS HIS ART...

ps:when I was writing this piece,I thought of another major persian satirist,parviz shapur,who is known as the best drawer of ardeshir mohassess' cartoon.
we just need a few samples to prove this.

his pen
before he performed drawing
on drawing studded walls
who stroke fears
on Amirs and Kings?
Where did he brew ink
to soak papers in?
In what lines he drops his portraits
of power and poor
on what rope of irony he hangs
their dresses
to be dried and ironed by the sun?
It is line without limits.
a srange will
to make story
of history.
a sharp pen
broken in sharp pen.
IT IS A SHARP PEN IF YOU DECIDE TO SHARPEN YOUR PEN,.IF YOU MAKE IT SHARP
