SUNSET AT LONDON BRIDGE of HAVASU LAKE

WHEN I GOT OFF THE ROAD
I DECIDED TO SAVE THE BIG ISLAND
FROM TEARS.
SHE WAS EXTENDING HER HANDS
IN THE GATES
OF LIONS
WITH THE RED AND WHITE LIGHTHOUSES.
I WENT AROUND
THE ISLAND
IN THE SUN.
THE ISLAND WAS LOST
THE LAKE WAS LOST
AND SPRING BREAKERS WERE SHOUTING NAKED:
SHOCK SHOCK SHOCK.
 BRIDGE IN THE MIST
FRAMING THE FLAMING CHANNEL
FRAMING THE BRIDGE
IN BLUE MIST.
A HANDFUL OF LAKE
FLOWING IN OUR HANDS
WHEN WE OPENED
OUR ARMS
TO EMBRACE
IN SUNSET.
