Kindness knows no boundaries, no religion, no race. It is one of the only qualities of living beings, whether humans or non-humans, that allow them to share this living world in peace, wonder and love.
In our family, kindness starts with sharing love right where we are. We talk about what it means to be a “Good Samaritan”. It doesn’t just mean to be kind to our next door neighbor, but to everyone we meet. Sharing love and compassion is contagious. Today I am taking my sons Ali and Paymon out and we are going to say hi and wishing the best to random people in our community. We are going to take the time to look up and around us and see who needs a little encouragement. May We are going to take the time to be kind because kindness can change the world. 💝
