Night at Galleries
Paul Ninas born in 1903 in Cape Girardeau, Missourie, down river from Mark Twain's Hannibal. He lived and worked in New Orleans from 1932 until his death in 1964
" Color as everyone knows is the joy of moderns...we use it recklessly to convey our own emotions and arouse the emotion of those who like our art."

  • Faramarz Soleimani You can see what inspired Picasso also apears to be cause and effects in Paul Ninas works, especially those of Cezanne. In abstract nudes of Ninas , Picasso 's pace could be found stronger. At times Ninas gets real and realistic but never close to Picasso in his Blue or Pink Period.

One more thing to be added to these colorful observations is colors like vivid lines are representative of Hedonistic life in New Orleans pretty much involved in artists works such as Paul Ninas
