STEINBECK'S TRAVELS WITH CHARLEY

WE FIND AFTER YEARS OF STRUGGLE THAT WE DO NOT TAKE A TRIP,A TRIP TAKES US.--JON STEINBECK
When moving like 30 times in your life, with or without your library, there is always a chance of incidental finding between your papers or books. This time I was looking through Steinbeck's Travels with Charley that I found this note that someone discovered the author was traveling not lonely but with his  wife and at one point he stayed in a motel, rather than in his truck. This guy forgot that the travels with Charley is good a book when it is written by John Steinbeck, the writer, and the trip is good a trip when is taken by Steinbeck or taken Steinbeck,in real life or in his imagination. So what is the point to see Steinbeck with his wife in a motel ? let's enjoy the incidental findings in the book itself!
