WITNESSING WITHOUT BORDERS

Journalism is witnessing without borders,with outcome such as harassement,attack,assault, beating and death,as seen in Cairo during Egyptian uprising and demonstrations,these days.In Iran on December three prominent journalist of opposition newspaper were arrested as one of the latest developments.Ahmad Gholami, of Shargh,Keyvan Mehregan and Farzaneh Roustaei,and Ali Khodabakhshi,the financial supporter,are now joined their other colleagues in prison.In Russia Anna Politkovskaya was shot and killed in her appartment In Moscow In 2006,Dmitri Muratov ,A determined journalist of Novaya Gazeta with 1.5 million readers,recieved terror warning.Anastasia Baburova and Stanislav Markelov,both ere shot to death,in 2009.
This year ,five journalist are killed including Ahmed Mohammed Mahmoud of Al Ta'awun,from Alahram Foundation, in Cairo,who died from gunshot wound.This number increases to 850 since 1992,and 145 journalists imprisoned while at work, as a member of PRESS.
