 ALBERTO GIACOMETTI,Swiss Sculptor and Painter
b. 10 october 1901,Forgonovo,Stampa,Switzerland,near Italy
d. 11 January 1966,Chur,Graubunden,Switzerland
Giacometti refused to follow external forms. He did not believe in abstraction, but a picassoesque emotional reaction always attracted him.
 The secluded artist once said:
I paint and sculp to get a grip of reality.
...But to the form in his reality,Giacometti went on to say:
The form is always a proportion to the obcession.
Alberto Giacometti is from an artist family, and his father,Giovanni Cometti
as a neo-impressionist/post impressionist influnced him on his paintings
Here you see some of Alberto Giacometti's oeuvres,as a sculptor and painter,to see his world and how he looked and discover it..
The Walking Man II,on top,is never mistaken with any other artist's work. ,It is  shown in National Gallery on permanent display and is the gift of A.Haupt
And this one is A.Haupt's Chariot plate to show love and admiration  for the unconventional swiss artist,
who passed the world this day in 1966 at age 64.
